Nichole Palmer is a published journalist, produced playwright, writing coach and copy editor living in her hometown of Gary, Ind. As President and Artistic Director of her own company, OUR VOICES, LLC- a writing and editing consulting firm and entertainment studio-she is able to blend all of her talents under one roof to create dramatic work that challenges, inspires and educates both secular and Christian audiences.

For almost 20 years, she has helped writers across the country strengthen their storytelling voices to create memorable work in the literary industries. Among her clients, six writers have published seven books (one of which is a 2007 Cush City award winner). She also has helped to editorially shape three Web sites.

But among the clients, her current joy is MySalonScoop.com. Here she has helped give birth to not only a new important editorial voice on the hair scene, but also a place where women can get and give straight talk about curly, kinky, coily, and wavy tresses without all the guesswork nor any of the salon drama.

Nichole Palmer earned her Bachelor of Journalism degree from Northwestern University and Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University. Ricki Jae Morris - Writer

Ricki Jae Morris, freelance writer and reporter for My Salon Scoop, gives the latest and greatest hair tips and styles from coast to coast. The California native has written for popular entertainment news outlets like LA Weekly and EURWEB.com. Morris is a recent graduate of Cal State Northridge where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast/Journalism. Morris is also the proud parent of her new baby girl Naomi J. Downing.

When it comes to hair, Morris is just like the rest of us-she loves to stand out in a crowd. Her hair has gone from press and curls, and weaves to "fantabulously" natural.

"My hair is the foundation of my personal style," she says. "It's what makes every outfit look that much more Divafied. As a writer for My Salon Scoop, I now know how to have style without compromising the health of my hair."
