When we're in our own version of the limelight — whether at our 9-to-5 or at our after-work mixer — our hair is the perfect accent to our wardrobe. That's one reason our stylists get prime real estate on our calendars, and in many cases, in our hearts.

This holiday season why not add your stylist's name to Santa's list of "who's been nice" to you this year? Below are six great gift ideas to make your stylist feel as special as he or she always makes you look:

Nothing says thank you quite like a personalized tin can of delicious baked desserts. Whip out your best baking skills. Make your stylists' favorite treats. Go for chocolate brownies, gingerbread men, Christmas sugar cookies, or even a nice spiced pumpkin bread.

Other sources recommend tipping 20% of what a regular visit would cost. And then if you don't require much attention from your stylist, give at least $20.

So if you haven't gone shopping, don't panic. Try one of the above suggestions. Each is sure to make your stylists smile. And as sharp as they have kept your hair looking all year, you know they deserve it!
