I had to update my previous review of the Keith Campbell Salon. When I first started at the salon the service was fabulous yet expensive. I just left an apt and will not be going back. During the course of the changing of the stylists at the salon, my perm was switched without my knowledge from a lye to a no-lye relaxer. When I noticed that I was not getting the perm that I started with, the stylist mentioned that the new perm was the same...which was when I figured out that it was a no-lye relaxer....sorry, not the same. So I elected not to have the perm on my hair but rather get a wash and blow-out. The stylist called Keith the owner and they requested that I pay for the perm that was mixed that was not used on my hair. Keith did not even request to speak to me (the customer) to determine what the issue was. I therefore elected to not have any service performed at the salon and walked out.

So, in general they don't do a horrible job, however I truly believe that shop maintenance has gone down hill. If you chose this salon, good luck and just make sure that you ask them what they are using on your hair every time you go to the salon to make sure you are getting what you want.

Keith, Heather and Tanika have all done my hair. My friends have liked the style that Keith gave me better than my previous styles. I typically am in the chair within 15 minutes of arriving. Depending on the day, the shop can be busy and services can take awhile. I have had visit lengths of 1.5 to 3 hours. I think you just have to find the right day and time to go.
